Patrol Deputy:

The Jack County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division has the responsibility of providing visible patrol for approximately 920 square miles.  Patrol Deputies respond to calls for service 24 hours a day every day.  The Patrol Division has 10 members, including one Patrol Lieutenant, two Patrol Sergeants and seven Deputies. 


Communications: 

The Communications Department at the Jack County Sheriff's Office consists of 7 employees: 1 Communication Supervisor and 6 Full Time Dispatchers.  Every employee in the Communications Department is required to obtain Basic Telecommunication Operator Certification and TCIC/NCIC Certification.  Communications employees often attend additional training to further their education and experience to allow them to better serve the citizens of Jack County.


The Communications Department handles 911 and Non-Emergency Calls for all unincorporated areas of Jack County, as well as the City of Bryson and the City of Jacksboro.  The Communications Department also dispatches Fire and EMS service for all of Jack County and provides dispatch services for the Jack County Constable's Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
 


Jailer:

The Jail Division at the Jack County Sheriff's Office consists of 13 employees:  Jail Administrator, Lieutenant, Sergeant,  Kitchen/Medical Officer, and 8 Full Time Jailers.  Every employee in the Jail is required to obtain a Basic County Jailer Certificate through the State of Texas.  Jail employees often attend additional training to further their education and experience to allow them to better serve the citizens of Jack County.
